2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards Cyphers: Lil’ Wayne, State Property, Dave East, Young M.A & More

The 2016 BET Hip-Hop Awards made its return on Tuesday (Oct. 4), hosted by DJ Khaled. Taped back in September, the highlight of this year’s show like every year was the cyphers. Backed by DJ Premier and DJ Drama, spitters from the past and present displayed their lyrical skills for viewers. State Property, Dave East, Young M.A, Jidenna, Dead Prez, Nick Grant, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Don Q, and New Edition were some of the artists to hit the battle circle.

The most anticipated moment came in the final cypher, a back-and-forth matchup between Lil’ Wayne and Chocolate Droppa aka comedian/actor Kevin Hart. Watch all the action below.
